Podium
2008: Along with the Association of Canadian
Choral Conductors and Mount Allison University, NBCF will
host Podium 2008, the biennial national conference of
ACCC, May 15 - 18, 2008. Choral Waves - Ondes Chorales
promises to be an exciting event for choral enthusiasts.
Situated on the beautiful campus of Mount Allison
University, Sackville, NB, site of the original "Podium"
conference in 1988, Podium 2008 will offer outstanding
performances, stimulating workshops, a variety of
interest sessions and master classes for conductors.
Naturally no conference would be complete without ample
opportunities provided for browsing the industry
displays, enjoying social events or sharing a quiet
moment with friends old and new. Check the Podium web
site regularly for details and take advantage of this
opportunity to enjoy the fine choirs performing during
the conference.

Coming Events

Workshops By Request : Need to develop basic
reading skills? Want to work on blend, tuning or
interpretation? Looking for some different repertoire or
just need a boost? Whatever the age, needs or skill level
of your choir, we are prepared to design a workshop
tailor made to fit the situation.
Workshops can be held as part of your regular
rehearsal or last for a day. Let us know what your
special needs are and we will arrange for a suitable
clinician to do the job. You supply the place, the choir
and, for a minimal registration fee, we will do the rest.
Registration fees will vary depending on the size of the
choir and the length of the workshop.
